Motorola Moto G (Gen 2): An exception
After a successful entry of Moto G in India, Motorola launched the new form of it in the name of Moto G (Gen 2) priced at a reasonable Rs 12,999 for 16 GB.
Having many resemblances with its sibling Moto X (Gen 2), this device is slightly heavier than its predecessor. Easy to hold, bigger display and an upgraded version is what Moto G (Gen 2) means. It is nothing but an exceptional phone at an exceptional price. With a 5” IPS LCD screen having resolution 720 x 1280-pixel, better sound clarity and a microSD card slot are some more features. The same 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor powers the device. This gadget comes with 16GB storage capacity extendable up to 32 GB and 1 GB RAM. It is able to handle multi-tasking and various apps were operating without any time lag. With an 8MP autofocus rear camera and 2 MP front-facing camera makes the photography awesome. Having pre-loaded with numerous Google apps, the device runs the KitKat version of Android and very soon it will be updated to Android L. Motorola Migrate app helping to move files to new handset, Motorola Assist app helps to silence the device while in drive and Motorola Alert app help to alert on the onset of an emergency situation. After overcoming the shortcomings in Moto G, and with the numerous features, the device priced at RS 12,999 seems to be very reasonable. A huge success is also expected.
