Google Maps 9.9 Gets a Native Map to Android Wear
Google Map 9.8 version has been updated and the native Map App for the Android Wearable devices along with the status-bar and all the other features. Google has also announced some of the new features of the Google Map that can improve traffic attentiveness and route suggestions as an option. Google Map was being anticipated last month when the Android Wear was updated along with the features. This also provides compatibility options for Wi–Fi support for all the compatible watches.
Till now, the Android Wearable devices were used for navigation through the Maps app. The latest version - 9.9 was released in order to provide support for carrying out browsing activities more easily and effortlessly. This feature was available for only smartwatches that run on the 5.1.1 Android Central for Android Wear. However, according to the reports, the Map apps that are based on android wearable smartwatch can also be released via voice command or any app launcher. The Map app on the Android Wearable platform has various unique features such as scrolling and zooming. However, according to the reports, the new Map apps for the Android Wearable platform also require some work.
For Android platform, version 9.9 of Google maps gets the new status-bar that is replaced by the solid status bar. A notification feature is also included at the base of the screen that provides a detailed rundown of the route. In addition to this, Google has also announced a new update for Maps that helps users to avoid jams.
