Moto E 2nd Gen: A Budget Phone
After a long pause, Motorola device have started capturing the Indian market again with their budget phones. Moto E 2nd generation is a continuation of this trade.
With a curved, back design in addition with a 4.5” qHD display having a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, the device gives a perfect smart phone look at a reasonable price of RS 6999. Corning Gorilla glass covering the screen is added with anti-smearing layer to protect the phone from smudges and smears. 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage space, microSD card facility to expand the storage capacity up to 32GB and an Adreno GPU makes the phone perfect at this modest price. Panorama, Geo-tagging and HDR facility added to 5 MP autofocus camera and a front camera with VGA resolution is there. Android Lollipop is the only best move in this phone giving a better outlook. Moto Display, Moto migrate and Moto assist apps are the newly introduced features in this device. Moto E seems best option if you do not require a cluttered OS or varieties of themes and all. With a 2390 mAh battery, Motorola promises a full day lasting battery which is a continuation of previous trade.
With an extensive design and a budget price though the device expects a good business in India, yet a non-removable battery is a demerit. While many better options are available at same price, this device has to counter a huge competition from other devices.
